Options


  • I oppose reforming current Alzheimer’s disease policy and wish to donate resources to the campaign committee of Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA).
  • I support providing better care and outcomes for Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and their caregivers while accelerating progress toward prevention strategies, disease modifying treatments, and ultimately, a cure by:

    1.) Requiring the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to identify a uniform, reliable cognitive impairment detection tool or set of tools that will incentivize clinicians to detect, refer and diagnose Alzheimer’s and related dementias in their earliest stages.

    2.) Establishing payment measures to incentivize the detection and diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or related dementias and discussion of appropriate care planning services, including potential for clinical trial participation.

    And wish to donate resources to the campaign committee of Rep. Linda Sanchez (CA) and/or to an advocate group currently working with this issue.

Trustee Candidates

If elected as a trustee, the campaign committee of Rep. Linda Sanchez (CA) will be unconditionally awarded the funds pledged to this issue along with a letter requesting her to favorably consider reintroducing H.R.2283 - Concentrating on High-value Alzheimer's Needs to Get to an End (CHANGE) Act of 2019.

If elected as a trustee, Alzheimer's Association will be awarded the funds pledged to this issue along with a letter requesting these funds be used to research better treatments for Alzheimer's disease and to increase accessibility to services and treatment for those suffering from this disease.
