  • I oppose reforming current firearm background checks policy and wish to donate resources to the campaign committee of Leader Charles Schumer (NY).
  • I support establishing new background check requirements for firearm transfers between private parties, including guns purchased at show sales by:

    1.) Prohibiting a firearm transfer between private parties unless a licensed gun dealer, manufacturer, or importer first takes possession of the firearm to conduct a background check.

    2.) This prohibition does not apply to certain firearm transfers or exchanges, such as a gift between spouses in good faith.

    And wish to donate resources to the campaign committee of Leader Charles Schumer (NY) and/or to an advocate group currently working with this issue.

Trustee Candidates

If elected as a trustee, the campaign committee of Leader Charles Schumer (NY) will be unconditionally awarded the funds pledged to this issue along with a letter requesting him to favorably consider passing the Senate version of H.R.8 - Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2021.

If elected as a trustee, Giffords will be awarded the funds pledged to this issue along with a letter requesting these funds be used to work and advocate for requiring background checks for those who wish to purchase guns.
