AI is now used in limited applications such as medical diagnosis, computer search engines, and voice or handwriting recognition. AI has the potential to transform every sector of our economy and society by powering the information economy, fostering better informed decisions and helping unlock answers to questions that are currently unanswerable. - I oppose reforming current artificial intelligence policy and wish to donate resources to the campaign committee of Leader Charles Schumer (NY).
- I support advancing frameworks, standards, guidelines and associated methods and techniques for artificial intelligence (AI) by: 1.) Requiring the Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to advance the development of technical standards for AI. 2.) Establishing the National Program to Advance AI Research. 3.) Promoting AI research at the National Science Foundation. 4.) Distributing $250 million a year for AI research. 5.) Establishing at least six AI research institutes. 6.) Establishing a pilot program to assess the feasibility and advisability of awarding grants to conduct research in rapidly evolving, high priority topics. And wish to donate resources to the campaign committee of Sen. Roger Wicker (MS) and/or to an advocate group currently working with this issue.
