Our 1990 Congress reclassified beer as a

  • I oppose reforming current beer tax policy and wish to donate resources to the campaign committee of Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA).
  • I support amending the excise tax on all beer brewed or produced, and removed for consumption or sale, within the United States, or imported into the United States during the calendar year by stating that such tax to be: 1.) $0 on so much of such beer as does not exceed 7,143 barrels. 2.) $3.50 per barrel on so much of such beer as exceeds 7,143 barrels but does not exceed 60,000 barrels. 3.) $16 per barrel on so much of such beer as exceeds 60,000 barrels but does not exceed 2,000,000 barrels. 4.) $18 per barrel on so much of such beer as exceeds 2,000,000 barrels. And wish to donate resources to the campaign committee of Rep. Steve Womack (AR) and/or to an advocate group currently working with this issue.

    If elected as a trustee, the campaign committee of Rep. Steve Womack (AR) will be unconditionally awarded the funds pledged to this issue along with a letter requesting him to favorably consider reintroducing H.R.767 - Fair BEER Act (114th Congress 2015-2016).

  • Beer Institute
    If elected as a trustee, the Beer Institute will be awarded the funds pledged to this issue along with a letter requesting these funds be used to work and advocate for reducing the per-barrel tax on smaller beer brewers.
